Ater demonstrating the Work Area Access interface at an NHS Hospital today, the estates team were eager to implement the system on a high traffic plant room door.
The estates officers were pareticularly impressed by the simplicity of the system and how it addressed difficulties with contractor access. We were able to show how implementation of the Uber Control Work Area Access system would alow the hospital estates department to move away form the issuing of master keys and towards automating access for only competent contractors, linked to the existing permit to work system.
The staff members also gave us food for thought, suggesting additional functionality to address issues around lone working. This was really great feedback and is definitely a feature that we will be looking to build into future versions.
